Gabriel joined Elsevier in April 2013 as VP Analytics, responsible for big data experimentation and analytics, developing new insights and data driven features for digital platforms such as ScienceDirect, Scopus and Mendeley. Prior to Elsevier Gabriel worked at Google for 6 years as Head of Attribution, digital marketing measurement and experimentation technologies which he was instrumental in developing. With over 14 years’ experience in digital research solution development and data analysis, Gabriel is passionate about the application of research and analytics in business problem solving and decision making. He has a PhD in applied economics from the University of London.
