Christee Pascale is the Associate Head of Acquisitions and Discovery at North Carolina State University Libraries, where her responsibilities include leading the Monograph Unit staff of eight and overseeing the acquisition, licensing and cataloging for the Libraries $2 million dollar monographs budget, as well as managing Departmental acquisitions, metadata and vendor initiatives. The Acquisitions and Discovery Department is responsible for the acquisition and cataloging of materials in all formats and languages, in both MARC and non-MARC schema. For NCSU Libraries participation in the US RDA Test in 2010, she lead the internal staff training development and delivery, managed the staff and workflow, and ensured the Libraries fulfilled test guidelines and commitments. In the current transitional RDA environment, she is the department’s lead resource on Resource Description and Access and serves on the Program for Cooperative Cataloging Standing Committee on Standards, contributing to the development of national RDA policy and practice. Additionally, Christee is an adjunct instructor with Lyrasis and regularly teaches the Resource Description and Access course track.

Christee has held previous positions as Coordinator of Technical Services at Utica College (Utica, NY) and as the Catalog Librarian at Bryn Mawr College (Bryn Mawr, PA). She holds at BA in English Literature from George Mason University and an MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh.
