Elaine Westbrooks, Associate University Librarian for Research, University of Michigan is helping to build the university’s framework for supporting their billion-dollar research enterprise. The framework includes a comprehensive research data management strategy complete with a data repository, identifiers including DOIs and ORCIDs as well as novel ways to document the impact of research using altmetics, social media, and researcher profiles. The speaker will provide details regarding the methods being piloted with researchers who are looking for new ways to promote, preserve, and share their scholarly assets.
